complete

Would love to be able to toggle on or off user SFX when checking off tasks or any other SFX.

We've added the option to silence interaction sounds within the app. This can be accessed from the notification settings window.

The new notification sound are too loud. I have my speaker set up to hear my emails and conference calls at a normal volume, but when I get a Flow notification is disturbingly loud and tend to close the app. It would be great if the default could be lower or the chance to control sound type and volume.

We're mid-way through work on this. Hope to have the ability to silence all UI sound effects in the next 1-2 weeks.

Hi @Joe Jestus! Thanks for this suggestion. We are keeping a close eye on feedback around the new sound effects so I will definitely be taking this to the team to review.

@Regan: I like the sound effects :-) Makes ticking stuff off a lot more satisfying

@Matt Stocker: that’s great to hear! We’re not likely to remove the sound effects entirely-just add an option to turn them off if you need to.

@Regan: Our team is finding this a really important detail, especially as we're working remotely on video calls with no way to disable sound effects besides turning the notifications off altogether for desktop. Although it's a small detail it's been a big point of discussion for the team this week as we're presenting to clients, etc with sound effects going off in the background. A toggle in the app would be very welcomed!

@Jody McClean: completely understandable and thanks for this example! We’ll keep this post updated as work on this item continues.

@Regan: It might be nice to have an option of different sounds. It's an enthusiastic SFX at the moment - it might be good to have the option of a more soothing note too.
On a maybe less serious note, on a bad day I might like the option of being cheered/clapped when I complete an action too - lol.
