We've added persistent badging to the global navigation bar so that you can always see how many notifications you have in the Home and Chat tabs.

When I'm in Projects view, there is no number badge next to Home button. However when I go to Home view, suddenly the number of unread notifications appears.
This is not smart behaviour in my opinion, since I mostly care about the number of unread notifications when I'm outside of Home view. Being able to see the number all times was more comfortable, this way I have to go to Home views every all the time to check for new notification.
The bell icon doesn't show number of unread notifications at all. Once again it would be smarter to be able to see the number without actually opening the popup window.

We're working to make notifications persistent no matter which tab you're in within the app. Thanks for all of the feedback.

I find that the notification when I am in Chat isn't as visible as the personal messaging between the team. I like the little pink box with a number in it to show the number of 'unseen' messages within the channel.

I've missed the notification for chats a few times and not realized I have one waiting on me. I've heard the same feedback from a couple of our clients as well.

Hi @Dan Diemer! Thanks for this suggestion. We are planning on updating badging in future so I would be happy to bring this to the team when that topic is revisited. Were you hoping to see a numbered badge showing how many unread messages you've been @mentioned in?

Hi @Vibeke Strand Dahle! Thanks for this suggestion. We do have plans to revisit badging options in future and this will definitely be taken into consideration when we look at that. We'll let you know here when we have an update on this item!
