  1. Require Manual Clearing of Catch Up Tasks

Our team absolutely loves the "Catch Up" feature except for one thing...

Imagine if your email inbox automatically archived messages that you had read, or opened one time. This is exactly how GetFlow has approached the Catch Up "Unread" section. This one flaw seems to completely destroy an otherwise phenomenal feature.

When a task is engaged with at all, it automatically goes to the "Read" section. This is a nightmare for our project managers who may quickly glance through their unread messages, but not have time at the moment to reply to.

Please keep "Unread" messages "Unread" until they are…

    • Unclear why completed tasks list under Overdue

      Hello,
I love Flow! But I have some points of confusion right now -- namely, I'd don't understand why completed tasks are showing in my Overdue column on Tasks > My Tasks (see attachment). I'm sure there's some reason for it that I'm missing, but maybe a little design work or guidance copy could help me understand this feature better.
      Keep up the great work!

      • Project Dashboard Take II

I have the Flow Pro subscription, so I have access to all of the new Timeline, Ghantt type views. But I am still missing a view that would be more useful to me.

The problem with the Timeline view for me is:
        a) I have too many projects
        b) the projects are long term

So visually them with a the current timeline view isn't very useful to me.

The Projects Dashboard has cards that display vertically and horizontally and provide a summary of information. However, again, I see too few. On a laptop I only see 7 full squares.

        I…

        • Multiple Features

I would love to see a few features implemented:

-Range of dates instead of due dates. This is especially useful during sprints.
          -Assign tasks to multiple people
-Tasks inside sections are ordered by due date automatically
-Time line: View per project so i can see the workload of all people on a specific project
-Time line: Adjust view to months, in addition to days and weeks

          • Restrict kanban access for guest by default

Hey, at the moment, if you want to invite "guests" to work on one specific kanban, you have to manually set every other kanban of a project on "private" mode.

The way we are working now is one kanban per client. This make this private mode complicated because we have to be sure to set it up whenever we are setting a new client (kanban).

Would'nt it be better to have the guests only access the kanban they are invited in by default? Like the guests mode in Slack.

I'd also like to hear your opinion and/or advice on that.

              • 1 day (start/end) for project timeline

We're a production company and use the project timelines for only the actual shoot days (not the whole pre or post production). Sometimes, we shoot only on one day, and would like that one day show up in the project timeline.

Unfortunately, however, that's not possible as the project timeline requires at least two days (start on one day; end on another).

It'd be great to be able to add one day projects to the timeline.

                  Hey guys

Love FLOW, couldn't work without it. When I sort all 'My Tasks' by Project I would find it useful if they were still sorted by Date under each Project heading. Then the most urgent would appear at the top of the list.

I find this view would be more useful like this...

                    • gantt chart with task interdependancies

It would be amazing to see a Gantt Chart within Flow. I think Timeline is a great begining to it, but it lacks features such as task interdependencies, etc. An important part of my team is asking to switch for a software that has this Gantt Chart feature and I would rather stay with Flow if we knew we could have such feature... Flow is a wonderful tool and even in comparison of other big name we would prefer to remain with this project management system... It is well designed and thoughts to be efficient while working in a modern…

                      • Views

In the project view with Columns, it would be great if a group could be expanded to use more than one column. I am only able to see 3 projects at a time per column/group. This means I still have to scroll up and down in the column to work with my 20 projects in that group. Since I only use 3 groups in this view, and I have a wide screen monitor more than 2/3 of my screen remains unused in this view. If the groups could expand columns, I could utilize my whole screen and view 30-40 projects…

                        • Google Maps Not Working on iPhone? Here’s How to Fix it

                          Give Permission to Use Location
The first reason why Google maps may not be working is because you haven’t allowed it to use your location or you’ve made changes to the settings app which is affecting the GPS on your device. When you download an app and it needs to use your location to work, you’ll have to allow it to use your location before it can work.

Apps don’t automatically gain access to your location without your permission, so for the GPS to work correctly, you’ll need to allow locations services. To allow location services:

                          Go to the Settings app
                          Scroll…

As our team gets more projects and tasks in Flow, it is hard to know where you are and what is important to work on today/this week (even with the new Timelines). We typically have dozens of projects and and hundreds of tasks that last several weeks or even months. Dates don't work, because many tasks take several days to complete and our schedules are very fluid. I have two suggestions: (1) MAKE FLAGS EASIER TO GET TO. I am currently using flags to keep track of my most important tasks this week. This works OK, but feels a bit…

                                • Remove the scroll on specific project list

It's inconvenient to have individual scrollbars with each project list. I have dozens of projects and I don't want to scroll each column. I think the system would rather have a body scroll like what you have in the team management page. The page scrolls based on height. Scrolling the columns looks ugly, aesthetically not pleasing and more confusing.

Ideally, the page should list all your projects straight down, you scroll the page to see them all. I hate the scroll bar right now that I create additional list groups to avoid it. If as last resort you decline to…

The bar that shows completion of the project is incorrect I believe. It should not be based on the "due" date. The color of the bar should be based on the tasks completed and always show a color. So being under 50% completion show an orange line, over 80% completed show the green line etc. That is the proper way to show the bar line and be motivational.

I will never have a due date on my projects because that is by date, I dont look at days when working on projects, I look at lists and how many items…

                                    • Close the task automatically window when clicking outside

When clicking anywhere outside the task panel on the right side, have it automatically close. (kind of like how Trello does), it's a habit to always click outside to close that window since clicking the X requires a "far" move for the mouse, esp on larger displays.

                                      • Delete a task by using the keyboard "DELETE" button.

Currently, you must select a task and go to the drop-down and select "delete", That is time-consuming when trying to delete a bunch of tasks.

                                        I propose this:

Select a task (by clicking on it) and clicking the "delete" button on your keyboard. A faster way to delete mass delete, or just delete something quickly. Like a shortcut.

                                        • Add a date and timestamp to comments on tasks

Add a timestamp to comments on tasks, not only updates to task.
